- How to fix compatibility with Intel cards.
Some vendors use the EEPROM check to promote their own cables.
EEPROM content should be defined during cable assembly process.
In Intel case, this is controlled by the driver.
modinfo igbx - check the list of options, AFAIR about the end of the list there is an option for the EEPROM check.
rmmod igbx - remove the module.
modprobe igbx - reload the with disabled EEPROM check.
If this does not work - please contact our sales person responsible for replacement.

- Does not work with Intel x710-DA4 NIC. The NIC ports get no-carrier signal. Updated board firmware using Intel NVM to to avail. Using latest drivers under Linux 4.x kernel. Interestingly it does work with older Intel x540 cards.
